Back when they first met after being assigned a group project in intro to biology, Jiono was very hesitant around arkatians. Jaanada wasn't quite the towering giantess she is today, but she still stood well above the alakek's head, and thus still gave him cause for concern. Yet, she was anything but concerning to him from the get-go, talking about what to do for the project, until rain started up on their way to the cafeteria. Being unfazed by the cold and wet herself, she raised her wing to keep him warm and dry from the weather, and they started talking about their hobbies and families.
This little scene came from a published roleplay log between me and
hetzer detailing the origins of Jaanada and Jiono as a young couple in Hetzer's UTOverse Anatalay University, and 
baristdeer was kind enough to make this drawing of that moment. It really shows just how cute of a couple they are. ^,..,^
