Honestly, I like the background as it is. You can still catch the glow of the lantern, but you're able to pick out everything else very well. I love the robes. They're not sloppy. They look warm, like if you reached out and touched them they'd feel like cotton just out of the dryer. Very well done! I love the pose, the scythe.. Just an all out well-rounded piece. Dig it.
I really adore your artwork. The anatomy is absolutely gorgeous and your atristic ability to be creative with poses amazes me. I love Speed, and I love this pose and the concept of it. The cloak is gorgeous, the different folds and the colors really give it depth and beleivability. Keep up the awesome work. < 3
