Gold is great. Any dragon worth their keep would gather all the gold they can and defend it tooth and nail. But to Craddock, all the glimmer of gold pales in comparison to the shining brilliance of a serene natural vista.
When nature's unrivaled power and signature grace both collide into one perfectly constructed display, that is the most valuable treasure of all in Craddock's eyes. THIS is the treasure Craddock will fight to defend, perhaps the only treasure he would protect more adamantly than his own hoard. Gold is replaceable. Nature's gifts are not.
So Craddock takes flight over this incredible mountain vista. His mountain vista. He patrols for anyone daring to endanger it, but also as an excuse to simply marvel at the beauty once more. There's nothing like it. No substitute. And Craddock revels in these sights like a dragon sitting proudly atop his hoard. For in Craddock's mind, what he's doing is not so different from that iconic behavior. Even though Craddock has a different way of expressing it, he is a dragon through and through.

Bevissa-Arts ! I am tempted to call this a gift even, because I did not deserve something of this quality for what I gave her. I commissioned her for a YCH a while back, but after a variety of problems and changes occurred on her end, she decided that instead of giving me a simple YCH, she would create a full detailed scene for me for my patience and flexibility. And... Wow, the results speak for themselves. This legitimately became one of the more impressive pieces in my entire gallery.
