You know how you can get so engrossed in a story that time just seems to skip forward?
That's how you know you're reading a good book.
I kind of miss that feeling. In my childhood, when you had all the time in the world to read, it was so easy to get into that state. As an adult, I have to purposefully put myself there now. To sit down not only with a book but have to be comfortable, not distracted, and with plenty of snack and drinks nearby.
But when you do get there...it's like nothing else.
Certainly makes me wish some of those places, species, and characters you read about were real.
