So one of the things that got me annoyed and put me in such a pissy mood was the monitor I have in this pic: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4519654/ IS TOTAL CRAP!
For awhile I was having some issues, colors being weird, text kinda off and then when I would run Crysis it seemed like my video cards were overheating or something..... but no that isn't it... it was that monitor...
See what happened was I was trying to play a song, when I clicked on the track blaring static came out of the speakers in the screen... I was trying to play an Alanis Morissette song.... not Ramstein >.>;;
So anyway I decided to go out the next day and look for a new monitor, I ended up with an 22inch LG since it is a good size for my space, it's pretty bloody amazing and I love it :D
The annoying part is I had to get speakers... I got me a two speaker set of Bose (which sound awesome btw) and that well the screen was $189 and the speakers were $99... I didn't want to have to spend so much, but I wanted something good and that would last hopefully >.>; ... although I believe that they were priced very well.
The part I hate.... the previous monitor was complete garbage that I wasted over $200... I cant return it or anything cause I got it a year and a half ago with my desktop (bought separate from Alienware) and it totally out of warranty.... so a huge loss... sigh -__-
anyway, Dog Blog is now over.... *scampers off*
EDIT! what you see on the screen is a product page for MIMO monitor that run totally off of USB power and displays from them too, I am considering a perches of the lowest end model the IMO PIVOT so I can use it for messengers and for placing the procaster chat in, seems like a good idea.. gotta think about it more x3 (since I already spent $300 for the stuff up there already... I'm still trying to decide if I want to spend more >.>)

I can imagine ... I only upgraded from a CRT to a TFT the weekend before last! Now I just need a decent computer (my current computer's PSU is so nearly dead it cannot power an optical drive & HDD at the same time, never mind the P4 with it's HYPER THREADING!!!! HAHAHA!)
Yet somehow I still manage to enjoy playing L4D2...

I'd just picked up two of these a few weeks ago.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16824114004
Pretty nice li'l beasties. They replaced an old Planar flatscreen (non-wide) at around 17", and a old Dell CRT 19". Still trying to get used to the new screen real estate.. :)

I'm no gamer... but I do a crapload of 3d stuff, predominantly in Poser. So, it's nice to have Photoshop open in one monitor, Poser in the other, and I can just keep on doing my texture edits on one screen and look to the other to see the results. Geeky, but it works. :D
http://wonderchef.pridelands.org/A/.....rrangement.jpg There's the whole setup. I'm thinking of moving the monitors over to the left, so that I'm not looking so far across the right monitor.. :>

Urgh, that is unfortunate. Though, looking at your past setups, it seems to me you've had it pretty good in the tech era...
I've only just recently "finished" my setup. Nothing too powerful, but I'm happy with it..
Ah, that aside though: That monitor looks excellent! And I'm a little envious about the speakers, I bet you get a really good bass out of those Bose speakers. And you said they're only $99? I always figured they'd cost a smidge more....I must be thinking of a 5 speaker set or something.
