So, the setting I'm working on is sci-fi/fantasy where space travel plays a large role. Space travel means space ships. Part of Delak's story revolves around a large scale war where he joins one of the sides as a fighter pilot. Two of the major starfighter manufacturers are Diomedei Shipyards and Aves Shipyards, both of which model most of their ships after various birds. The (part of a) ship pictured here is the Gyrfalcon interceptor.

That feather pattern was a pain in the ass to do, and I'm not even sure I like how it turned out.
