It's the fastest way to prove to everyone else how epically you can fail. I keep seeing people do that, particularly on the submissions of popular artists, but I can't understand why anyone would want to look like that big of a dork in front of so many people. It's not like that even qualifies as a comment, anyway, so the next person has the first real comment.

lol, nah, 's good. I've seen this all over the place, too, and the only answer I can give you is simple.
People think that they're making themselves known by doing it, posting in early so that others will click their icon and view their gallery; early bird sorta mentality. Too bad it makes them look like idiots with no opinion of their own.
