Eh, if the magic juice you are talking about is blood, we will have a problem. Mine is corrosive outside of my body. But, if we are talking about magic, I have plenty to share. As a matter of fact it replenish itself while I'm in the dark.

Just put me in total darkness and it replenish faster that I can use it. Does that look enough for a compensation for some pets ? XP

Plus, as far as I know, if my hands stay away from the stones or the ears, I could be ok, right ? ^^

His scaled form itself is more or less corrosive as well as self damaging, leaving him fairly invulnerable to pain as his body is in a state of slowly eating away at itself. So odds are he wouldn't even notice if what he bit burned him. xD
And as kind as the offering is, he would almost never consume magic from a living person as a source willingly due to the possible risks it carries.
[Said risk being that when imbued with another's magic and little to none of his own, he can be controlled magically like a puppet or extension of the others body.]
He'd only do so willingly once he grows desperate enough and attacks. Of course he can always be forced but that's very liable to cause him trauma, especially since it'd be by no means the first time he's done through that.

and as mentioned previously you're welcome to try and pet him.. There's just no telling what might happen. He might let you but chances are equal that he'll bite your fingys off. :^)

Oh, I didn't know about him being resilient to corrosion. Hum, yeah, it would be an annoyance but not a threat to him I think then...like hearing a mosquito while you sleep XD

And ouf...hell no...I like liberty too much to take it from someone else. That sound like a waking nightmare O_O

....As for my fingers....I offer them FOR SCIENCE and try to pet anyway XP
