Okay. How durable would you say that is? Capable of being worn 24/7 with only minimal cleaning without loss of color, or no?

And is it strong enough to withstand that sort of daily wear and tear in the smallest gauge possible?

I've worn my pieces all over, even to the beach and tidepooling (salt water can do some damage to metal) but none of them have shown much wear and tear. I know someone that has a piece (not one of mine) that she wears 24/7 and even in the shower, it's showing wear and is loosing it's color after a year+.

As for the smaller gauge, I'm more careful with the rings since the wire does flex easier. But even those have stood up to normal wear. The thicker the gauge the stronger the piece.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you have in mind to be asking about the smaller gauges?

I was looking for something very subtle and feminine to match a slightly thicker, more masculine piece to make matching necklaces for a friend and myself. :) I just know how both of us wear jewelry, so it'd be pretty constant wear and tear.

The small gauge rings I have would be WAY to small for a necklace. Some of the other weaves I can do would be pretty as necklaces. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4045653/ will give you a better idea of the size of those rings.

I was hoping for byzantine, so the ones in that picture look like they'd work great. :3 I've seen some really pretty (and really tiny!) byzantine weaves that look amazingly delicate in a small gauge, but byzantine looks good in a large gauge and on a male as well, which is why I was hoping for it. :3

Nope. I've tried Byzantine with those rings, looks bad. If it was a bigger gauge in the same size of ring it might work (I've seen it done too) but I don't have such rings in stock. Also I'd be worried about it holding up, just because of the size of the rings.

I can take some pics of the normal Byzantine worn when I get home so you can get an idea of the size.

Oh my. I'll be faving this for future use, as I may end up nabbing a custom piece for a lucky charm I've been working on finding bases/chains for.
Unfortunately I cannot legally mail you the 'charms' and have you add them, as they're both spent ammunition brass (9mm and .38SPL) with the primers removed and have you add them, because Australia has fairly tight regulations for such. However I used to tinker around with jewelery a lot in my past, so I should be able to make a pair of wire loops to attach them to a ring.

The full persian weaves are pretty darn durable once done. As for the colors, they stay really well, I've only seen some fade over years when worn 24/7 and through showers and stuff.
