I was kind of disapointed at the guardians of Ga'hoole movie, no ORLY owls or anything.

I saw it last Saturday, and I might drag my friend to it this weekend. It was awesome.
I hope you can see it soon. The animation was great, and it followed the books fairly well, more so than most other movies. Kludd isn't metal beak though.

I can't deal with Kludd not being Metal Beak. I've been a Kludd fangirl since day 1.

It's technically true to the book though, as it's never really said when Kludd becomes metal beak. It's hinted at in the end that Kludd does take over the position of high tyto.
It's hard to explain really. He plays an important part and he's explained a lot more in the movie. (in the books he was just kind of...evil. Not much development)

I feel betrayed by the movie in so many ways. Call me a tard, but I just love GOG so much. I'm the equivalent of a bible thumper to these books.

If you're that into the books it might not be a great idea then. The changes had to be made for the most part (Some things are epic on paper but would really suck on the big screen) I think.
Either way, it might not be a bad idea to go watch it. If nothing else, the animation is incredible. That, and you just might like it.

But I'll quit rambling now. I clearly enjoyed this movie too much, and no one else I know actually cares about it in any way, shape, or form.
