I'd like to get a DSLite, but they just are not nearly as sexy as this. ;)
This is my original DS with a case cover I picked up in Tokyo the day after the 8th Pokemon movie (starring Lucario) came out in theaters. As you can see, the obsession took hold very quickly. ^_^

Kinda wonder if they're still selling them, but then again, it's probably impossible to get one outside of Japan (unless you know someone there that could get it and ship it). :(
Japan seems to get all the best stuff. Pretty much why I felt the need to stock up as much as possible before I left.

*sigh* Some people just don't get it. ;)
Of course I'll get a Lite, I just don't know when... I'm just not in a rush to do it since there hasn't been a special edition Pokemon Center one yet, aside from some that were only available to members of a Japanese Pokemon club, which really confuses me given that they've had Pokemon Center edition GBAs, SPs, Micros, and that Mew DS I have, but no Lite. Maybe due to supply constraints.
Of course I'll get a Lite, I just don't know when... The DS Lite, to me personally, feels like a flimsy piece of plastic. My old DS has all the same colors and functionality as the light, just not the bonus features such as changing brightness. Big whoop, still not real reason to change... I like the older better, and it isn't "fat"
I didn't have to sit through anything, if that's what you're suggesting. I picked up the case cover in the Pokemon Center in Tokyo. I just mentioned the 8th movie because that was my first true exposure to Lucario and it really just goes to show how quickly I became obsessed with him. ^_^
Well, I liked most of the Pokemon movies, but then again, I haven't watched a Pokemon movie in English since the second one (loved the first two in Japanese, but hated the English versions). So, I'm not really sure what the dubs are like. I'd say check em out though if you're ok with them. My favorites, after the original, were six and seven (Jirachi and Deoxys).
There's a lot of comments and I'm sure these questions have been Answered already but if i don't ask what other reasons do i have to talk to a Lucareon?
1: I'm curious on the price of said object... i recently bought a Pokemon diamond off a friend simply because it had Lucario in said game and I've formed sort of a obsessions.
2: Ya think i could find one on eBay or a similar site, and more importantly do you know where i could find one?

I can't remember what I paid for it, but it wasn't that expensive. The main problem is that I don't think they make covers like this anymore, this it's for the original DS and Japan is pretty much all DS Lite now.
As far as where to get one, I would say that, unfortunately, Ebay is probably your best bet. I bought mine in Tokyo, and it turns out I was there at the right moment. I can't say for sure that they're not making them anymore, but I'd have to go to Japan again to find out. Sorry to disappoint you in that respect.

Awesome. I wish I had one like that. The only DS I have is my original blue one [It used to have a sticker on it but the sticker came off ¬ __ ¬]. I can barely play with mine cuz the top screen is cracked and I can barely seen anything out of it. I want a DS Lite [I also want a Wii to replace my ancient GameCube].
But anyway, that is an awesome DS, the blue background for the cover goes very nicely with the actual DS color.

I got a DS lite and Diamond. Im getting a custom made vinyl skin, you can upload the art to the websites program and then the rest is easy. I just wanted to share http://www.leftskins.com/product/3382

you could easily do this to the back of a metallic blue DSL. just use a dremel and paint in the colors of your choice. you may take a few tries, so practice with another piece of material first. i didnt on my first try of putting the autobot symbol on my first lite, and it got scrapped. on my second now, but havent tried again. probably better that way.
