Name: Anne-Marie
Species: Shapeshifter (Primary form is a large, bipedal mammal resembling a tanuki.)
Height: 9'8" (Primary form. Can take forms of any size between 5' and 20'.)
Weight: At least 1000lbs (Primary form.)
Formerly human, Anne-Marie is a witch who dabbled in polymorph magics - and promptly trapped herself in a bestial form. Since then she has honed her skills, and become an expert in the field, able to shapeshift into a wide variety of forms, and polymorph others into just as many. After spending many months in the wilderness she has recently moved into town, and her current tanuki-like primary form seems to have developed around the same time. She tends to adopt a human guise in public, but her true nature isn't exactly the best-kept secret, both due to her eagerness to share her magic with others, and difficulty maintaining disguise when distracted. The most common signs of this are green eyes, animalistic ears, and a large-
"Hey, are you done over there? I need to pick up groceries, and my arms are aching from standing in this pose all day."
Fortunately, she bears an overall kind demeanour, and is not a threat unless provoked. Therefore, no additional security measures need to be taken.
I've always been happy with Anne-Marie's design ever since the first drawing of her, but I've been meaning to change it up for a few months. Essentially, the reason is that while she started out as just another OC, I've grown really attached to her, to the point where I basically consider her to be my 'sona now. It just didn't feel right to me to have my 'sona be a fan character, especially one for a franchise that isn't even the main thing I draw. Naturally I wanted to keep her overall shape (though I wanted to keep this drawing SFW so one or two things aren't visible here), but I changed or removed a bunch of other things to give her a more original design that's distinct from what it's inspired by.
As for the generic pose, this drawing was made to serve as a reference image first and foremost, so I avoided messing around with poses.
I know a lot of my recent uploads have been of her, but don't worry, I do plan to find more of a balance between 'sona art and my usual stuff in the near future.
