I initially tried this recipe as a sample at the local grocery store. I fell in love with it and decided to make it for breakfast today. It also makes a good brunch/lunch probably. Also I served it with Sparkling Red grape non alcoholic drink. Anyways onto the recipe.
Ingredients
Aluminum foil
nonstick cooking spray
1 package(8 count) refrigerated biscuits
1 package(11-13 slices) Oscar Myer Fully Cooked BACON
5 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons ranch dressing mix(this is the packet of dressing. where it's a dry powered mix)
1 1/2 cups Kraft Natural Shredded Mild Cheddar cheese
Directions
1) Preheat ovn to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line baking sheet with foil, and spray liberally with cooking spray.( I personally used a shallow baking dish to cook it in as you can see and I sprayed a lot).
2) Cut 8 slices of of biscuits into 10 slices each and finely chop the pre-cooked bacon. Basically, I cut 5 biscuits in half so there was 10 slices.
3)Melt butter in a small mixing bowl in microwave for 1 minute or until liquefied. Stir in ranch dressing mix.
4) Space half of the chopped biscuits on the baking pan approximately 1/2 inch apart. Spoon on half of the butter mix. Sprinkle on half of the cheese and half of the bacon, then layer the remaining biscuits on top.
5) Spoon on remaining butter mix, cheese and bacon.
6) Bake for 20 minutes. Remove and let cool for about 3 minutes. Pull apart and enjoy.
