**Giggles!**
Wow! I have been super busy this New Year so far with all sorts of things. I have been trying to get my stories back on track and the Saturday Night Tabletop Group has got me running the biggest gathering that we have done since 2014 with the new adventure path for the group, The Council of Thieves! I usually post something for the new year ... and of course this is the year of the Tiger, so you'd think I would have done so with enthusiasm. I even tried to do some drawing, but ... alas, I got frustrated and gave up for the moment. Between my adjusting sight and some nerve damage I have in my fingers, it's become quite the contest to control the pencil ... but, nevertheless, I have to keep on trying.
So, when my good friend,
kurama-chan, posted this wonderful piece that I commissioned a while back, I thought this would be perfect! An innocent Kodak moment captured by her Pop, Taffy is enjoying playing with her favorite spaceship from the 1970s, the Lief Erickson, which actually glowed when you charged up the plastic model in either sunlight or a well-lit room. My Pop got me a bunch of spaceships like this one when he retired from being a Naval officer and moved down to East Beach back then, bringing one in an hour or so. I was told that he stayed up late a few nights, building these models from a local store ... the Enterprise, the space station, the shuttlecraft Galileo, the Klingon and Romulan ships too. I loved them all!
