Hey! Check it out! I'm ACTUALLY getting my drawings done for a change!

Ever since I came up with Fahren's fuel port idea, I'd always wanted to come up with other fun ways he could use them, and paw mounted flamethrowers sounded like the SICKEST fucking idea ever! I just HAD to draw it.
The quality of this image is ALL over the place, I apologize. This is one of the longer times to finish a piece I've ever taken. Constant off and on, dragging my paws for GOD knows how long, honestly. More than half a year? Eesh.. I am a TERRIBLE artist. XD
But yeah, I discovered new shading techniques every time I would return to doing this image, so there's like crazy texturing and highlights and stuff. It's nuts. But I think it tied together well enough in the end. I'm still proud of it!
I'm not exactly sure if I'd even consider this piece done? But I think it's to the point where I could only really improve it by adding other assets , which would just be the same work, but over and over again, when I think the point is already made, anyway.
STILL, though! I hope you like this one! I mean, I certainly do! This is fuckin' AWESOME! SO glad to have it done so I can finally show the world!

Aw, thank you! I don't have any good fluid warp tools at my disposal, so I have to be really picky about the kinds of textures I use and how often to use them to prevent it being TOO obvious that it's just a flat texture. I think I did a decent job hiding it at least!
And in relation to your comment on my other image, I do actually still use the 3D models to pose these characters to trace them, I've just gotten way better at both posing the models and tracing them out, so it looks way more natural. I can do it far more artistically now, which I'm very proud of. ^^

Thats fair Do you use Sai? :O Sai some make really nice brushes for Sai and programs like Clipstudio which is like Sai and Photoshop had a baby. xD But that program is nice. You can put 3d models into it and pose them but only down side is that you can't see the textures. Or i havent gotten then to appear yet lol.
And hey I see nothing wrong with that! It is helpful and after some time you can eventually do it on your own, Unless your struggling with something specific. x3 Glad you seem to be enjoying your work tho! :3

I do use Sai, and I was unaware you could modify it at all! I did actually purchase Clip Studio, but even after hours of rebinding shortcuts, it still didn't handle as well as Sai. Plus, I figured out the key issue I was having with Sai that made me switch in the first place, so I just went straight back to Sai.
I've heard of that 3D model posing feature, but I've never seen it and have no idea how to use it. I'm assuming I can't just import an extremely complicated Blender model into it. And even if I could, I'm just too used to panning, orbiting, and zooming in Blender to find it worth using in Clip.
It is very useful! I love it! I can freehand if I really have to, but I like using the models because it's actually a faster workflow for me than anything else. Plus, the results are consistent, which is a big deal for me.
Oh yeah, I LOVE basically everything I do! I mean, I hope that doesn't come across as incredibly self-absorbed. That's not why. I've always just.. kinda been the opposite of the stereotypical artist in that sense. I still see what needs improving, but instead of constantly putting myself down about it, I just choose to focus on the good things. Art is just fun!

Actually it has the zooming moving etc similar as blender. But i am unsure about the detailed modles. As when i import in a model it kinda goes all grey. Like i said, i just be doing it wrong lol
Oh yeah no thays fine! I am kind of in the middle. I like everything i do but i still get down about things. So im like the 50/50 Artist. So I see where i can improve too. Lol
