Slurping up a second colourful concoction, it's sweet dizzyness lingering on Duski's tongue, the pup played with thei swirly paper straw, lights flashing and music thumping behind them as the canine considered joining them, finding their friends again to enjoy another lucious night at the Lunar Lure.
But as Duski went to swivel around on their chair, they were met with a tenatious tomcat, a dark figure lingering over them, Duski jumped back making his glass rattle.
"Woah s-sorry, didn't see you there!" Duski apologised, moving out of their way to the bar dispite their gaze tracking him.
"No no, you are quite okay, pup. Infact, I wanted to say hello, not so often you see a sweet, innocent looking thing on their own in a place like this." The figure grinned.
"Mind if I buy you a drink? The name is Citrine, by the way." The cat smiled a fake yet convincing smile, sitting down with confidence.
Duski was going for an exit but listening and looking into those firey orange eyes, he thought it might not be a bad idea, he would be lying if they said such a character wasn't intimidating, but they were offering a free drink, it would have been rude to turn them down...
Time seemed to slip though the two's paws as one drink turned to another, the two talking as the world seemed to melt away, it turned out the two had lots in common, even if Duski could barely get a word in, then again he felt he didn't need to, it was nice just being spoken to and listening, letting words sink in.
"It's been a nice night, hasn't it, pup?" Citrine told the canine.
"Y-Yeah! Really nice, thank you so much for the drinks." Duski hiccuped, admittedly feeling fuzzy and warm as it was difficult to take of that tipsy smile.
"What do you think, want it to continue? I think yours sounds fun." Citrine proposed, placing his paw on Duski's as the blue dog's cheeks turned red for a hot moment.
"i-I think that could be arranged!" Duski said with dorky awkwardness, not believing his luck to a degree as the two parted ways from the lure...
The two arrived at the humble abode, door closing as the hall illuminated, revealing a cozy mirror, used for rapid gussy sessions before dashing out the door, funny it would lead to Duski's downfall.
Citrine took his opportunity, snapping to grab the Deergi's attention as Duski looked up from taking his shoes off, to be met with Citrine's eyes.
Duski froze as the cat manoeuvred behind him, moving him closer to the mirror as he gently held his paw onto the shimmering glass, witchy magic flowing though their soft beans as the transformed the mirror into a swirling, orramge vortex, pulling the canine in as they stared deeply into its dark centre, eyes copying obediently as they saw their future, where they belonged, another slave to serve and be drained by their master again and again, devoted to their power.
Citrine gave an evil grin, the same Cheshire smile he would have watching a hero bent on his destruction groveling at his feet, it would certainly be fun corrupting such an innocent, inexperienced thing into another one of his own, Duski seemingly agreeing as they dizzily smiled at their future, ready to make it come true...
This was an incredible, super fun zonked out portrait I won in a raffle from the equally fun
