Detective Tatsuki (Kemono Form) (Edit)
This and a recolored version of Tanuki in the Outfield are how I tested Rigubi's new design before I got my cords. It's a bad edit, so it might look odd. I'm drawing a new reference for him, so I didn't feel like putting that much effort in. Sorry. βΉ
I... have sinned.
I wanted to play L.A. Noire since it was announced in 2010/2011. I was 12. Twelve. Now... 11 years later... I got a PS4 Pro and I can finally play it! I bought it and bunch of other games on sale. It was pricey, but younger me would be so happy right now. I got into film noir because of it.
...well, the aesthetic anyway. I still haven't seen Casablanca yet. π€·ββοΈ
...I had no idea I was going to play as a cop. Yay. Unfortunately, I still enjoy the game outside of that. Mostly for running Roy Earle's bigoted, traitorous ass over and over repeatedly. I also own Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5, if that helps. (Rockstar, WHERE. IS. MY. FUCKING. MIDNIGHT. CLUB. FOUR???)
So, to get this across: I like game. I like game aesthetically. I hate cops in game. I hate Roy Earle. I hate real life cops. ...Cole is okay. Still ACAB.
(Actually, the game's goal seems to be to show how corrupt the LAPD was (and is), so it's accurate at least. Heck, even the main character is messed up. Good on ya, mate!)
(Edit: Team Bondi's CEO was garbage. π)
L.A. Noire made me interested in my Detective AU again. Long story short. I want the Broderick in real life... π
I noticed I started to hate the color of his trench coat. It oddly looked "too modern" for me. I literally got the colors from a photo of some guy from Boardwalk Empire. Tommy something? Idk.
So, to give him a more "typical", rustic look, I went with the basic khaki and brown they're known for. Perfect! π His waistcoat and pants are a different hue as well. Now he looks like he stepped right out of the '40's! (Also, it'll be cheaper to replace any pieces of it and I don't have to talk to someone for a custom cosplay! π Haha, I hate socializing so much! Talking to others brings me so much anxiety! Everyone is judging me! /hj)
I'm going to dress as him when I go to a con! I got a fedora! Now, all I need is...
β Fedora
β Fursuit
β Trench coat
β Waistcoat
β Dress shirt
β Tie
β Badge
β Flask
β Plush Cigar
β Confidence
Ah, so I might as well stay home! π
I decided to just give him a tail. So, he's like Inugami. He has a full furry form now, so the Kemonomimi form feels lame and redundant now. I still made a kemono form for old times sake. Or maybe he still has the ears sometimes? I don't know... I hate how uncreative I am lately... I feel stupid.
Bonus ears version.
Man, L. A. Noire is so cool... I wish Cole Phelps was real... π
