Evren is a Turkish word for the cosmos or the universe and is also a giant snake-like dragon in Turkic Mythology.
I’m not a mythology buff nor am I Turkish but I found this out a while ago and this name is God tier for a dragon name. Just for a name in general. I drew this inspired by a drawing by Er_Shiro on Furaffinity.
I’ve had this character stowed away for a while. But now, I imagine Evren is one of many dragons who lived amongst humans in my story millennia ago. While there’d be many types of dragons, Evren is the ruler of them all and one of the main deities of the “Old Religion”. Those who practiced this old religion knew about magic and worshipped dragons as gods. Without getting into too much detail, this guy is awesome.
Technically I made Evren to be a male, the original drawing he’s inspired from is a female, and some people I’ve shown him to on Discord confused him for a girl because of his hair. And yes, I intended for him to look slightly androgynous. If you want to roleplay with Evren as a woman that’s fine with me!
This drawing fits the dimensions for an iPhone 11 Wallpaper, which is what I use. I know I made “Chenbryonic” to be a wallpaper as well but this drawing blows that one out of the water. I will certainly use this one.
