Yes and no. I have a friend, and they'll turn every argument into a downward spiral by deliberately misinterpreting what you say by using very narrow and strange (but technically correct) interpretations of the words you are using, using deflections and changing the subject, endlessly asking you to give specific examples, things like that. Eventually you learn that there's no point in arguing with them and you just end up ceding the point. It's a lot like this.

My friends put up with me. Least I can do is put up with them. ;)
