I like to ride back there in the daytime when I have time and driving around at night is fun too, wouldn't want to ride though there at night though, too many deer. Counted close to 20 on my last trip though.

Ooooo a Vulcan!! I love them. 500 or 800? what year? I have a 95, 500 with the Ninja engine in it. it hauls ass!

Its a combo of 2 750cc Vulcans, one had a smashed front end, that one was a '98, and the other had a bad transmission, that one was an '02. Combine them both over the weekend and its a complete working bike.

Sweet!! I'm doing the same thing with my Rebel. I have 3 in the yard torn apart to make my 86 better. I was thinking of taking the Shadow I have and putting it's motor in my reb. I don't know if it will work but it is fun as hell doing all this.

Sounds like you got a fun project going, hopefully the frame will support the Shadows engine but if it works you'll have an awesome machine at the end of it.
