Saturday afternoons are made to spend hours inside recordstores, looking around, peeking through the shelves and the
boxes. Sometimes I end up buying nothing, sometimes I spend tons of money in stuff I pile up in my bedroom.
Sometimes you find that record you love or that you've only seen around in pictures :3

How come you like Records? Nostalgia for childhood technology, The sound, holding permanent physical copies of music, collecting a novelty format or are you just following the hipsters?
Personally it's all except the hipster bit for me. It's a format that I grew up with and I'm hugely familiar with. I'd rather listen to a LP than an MP3. Even when I go out I take my walkman or minidisc player simply because I have to spend time on deciding what to take with me before I go out. I don't have the option of changing my mind later on in the day.
I can't criticise your choice in music format. It's a great format to have and it's going to be with you for a LONG time if you look after it.
Love this art style. Very high quality. Thanks.

I generally tend to be rather materialistic when it comes to music, books or films. I really like owning physical things that I can touch, look at and show to friends, and even though I have a Spotify account I think the main reason for which I buy music is that I need to think I am making an investment on something that requires attention. Opening Spotify and realizing I can listen to almost anything doesn't make me able to care for an album the same way that buying it does. I buy CDs and vinyls and import them on an MP4 (the quality of the sound is important too, so I try to choose carefully players and headphones) and knowing that I have spent money on an album allows me to weigh music differently rather than just look up for something and press play. I grew up with walkmans and portable CDs players too, so I kind of feel comfortable with the "limits" of the mediums :3
There's an irrational side too, which consists in just entering a recordstore and buying stuff I know nothing of just because it looks interesting, because it's not exactly in my comfort zone or because someone recommended it to me. I try and expand my music tastes and not limit myself too much, even though I can't help not liking some music genres. And I generally just like entering recordstores, look around and enjoy the atmosphere.
