Mmm zebra cakes.
I have always wanted to make friends with a zebra, actually get close instead of seeing one behind a fence at a zoo.
I serously looked into what it would take to own one but the permits, the fencing and the price last I saw one it was close to 10,000 dollars. I would want one born and raised here and not abducted from the wild. Let the wild ones stay free.

Well to be honest, he lives alone in a 10x10 stall in my friend's garage. I feel sorry for him, because he's more of a "pet" than a pony. He needs a herd of his own. I keep meaning to take some materials and put a wall around his small outside paddock, and a roof over it so he at least has room for a mare.
He's probably lonely and unfortunately his only social activity is," hello." *lip, lip, bite* I would certainly spend more time with the cute fellow, but his biting is annoying and only drives me away.
As I mentioned, mealtime is the only chance I truly get to get into the stall with him to pet him and groom him without worrying about him biting me. =P
Very sad, really. Btw, here's a picture of the little guy for ya!

I see...cute little guy, and well, horses just get that way when ignored. I have a two year old morgan I'm trying to work with, and if I'm gone for too long, then she get's snooty and tries to show her dominance my taking a chunk out of my neck :P
But yeah, get him a mare and take some pictures of her rump ;)
