Yes, materials are very expensive and this takes a lot of skill + talent to make, additionally this is huge and a very niche market type of plush. Very well deserved. $800 starting price is quite reasonable.

It's also bloody huge. I have another Pokem plush and it's larger than a person, takes up a significant chunk of the room.

I wish I wasn't trying to get a few giant inflatables made, I'd buy him in a heartbeat. If he was a smilodon, I'd probably have put a bid down regardless...
