Sometimes Tarja wishes for the good times of her pirate career or the earlier subjugation and ordering of her empire, when political differences were fought with fire and blood... and with less paper.

In the meantime, she has her youngest daughter Silja for that, who has a knack for the finer points of diplomacy and an angel's patience for bureaucracy.... and an equal patience for explaining it to her mother.
