This is a works in progress of a new Anubis picture I am working on. I have yet to do the clothes and would likely add them digitally to save time. I am particularly proud as to how the body turned out on this one. Not only does it look very jackal like, but I even did well on the hands. LOL. ^\/^.

The feet look stubby as they are because I intend to have boots on them. Why add toes if there are boots going there anyhow. LOL. ^\/^.

I am doing much better at getting more anatomically correct placement of the muscles. I still need work on such areas as where the legs connect to the torso and the wrist areas. They still do not seem correct to me. But that is just my OCD talking to me with the whole 'Gotta have it perfect darnnit!" thoughts getting at me. Poor habits are hard to get rid of at times. LOL. ^\/^.

I already finished much of the head of the staff. The rest of the staff only needs ornamentation to be done. I will refrain in case I mess up on the body and end up doing a bunch of erasing. LOL. I also did the basic part of the eyes. I have yet to add the pupil on it and the rest of the inner iris parts ad the eye markings to boot. I intend to do so digitally since the eyes are one of the most important parts of many figure drawings since it conveys so much emotion and life to a figure. Other things, like clothing and the body need at least a conveying of motion to work. Otherwise, the detailing can be rendered in a number of ways. They eyes need to be just right though. LOL. ^\/^.
