The last one that I put off because he is genuinely my least favorite character even though he's the second most important. I don't know if he can actually fly? He's supposed to look much stronger than he actually is.

Definition of a sweet little baby that grows up to be the bad guy. He's largely inspired by the Bane in Gregor the Overlander. That series has a special place in my heart since it was the last one that my dad read to me all the way through when I was little.

Fun fact: all of the scars Geim has when she's older are from him. He is....not a very good king. He's also the breed standard for lion-type Northerns, which are the most common. His uncle is the breed standard for crested Northerns. For comparison to Geim, who is supposed to look very strange and awkward to them.
