Hold on to me, Sailz. Take those short dino arms of yours and hug me tightly, and I'll get nice and cozy in your warm hug. And place your long, lovely spino chin on top of my dragon head.
I guess this piece is to say how appreciative I am that I can be myself, and I am surrounded by those who love and accept me, my family, IRL friends, and you guys.
Whew, this was the toughest cel-shading image I've ever done. I wasn't sure how to go about the lighting, so please critique me, so that I may improve.

Yeah, thank you, Dave! Like you said, almost everywhere. It's not perfect; not everybody can understand and accept the unique person I am. But overall, I am surrounded by those who do and truly, I am lucky. I wish the same for you, because you really are an awesome person to know.

As for critique, I don't want this to sound rude, but the shadows on Sailz look, weird to me. Like, they don't look like shadows, more like different tones of his skin. Idk, maybe I'm just not looking at it right. Maybe it's just the green that is goofing me up because on the purple and blue, it looks fine. Anyways though, I think this does show off a very cool effect in coloring, shading and whatnot!

Sailz was difficult to work with, because yes, you said it: they are different tones of his skin. So I was working with his skin tones in combination with the shadows. Maybe I should change Sailz's skin tones, so they don't already look like he's cel-shaded when he's not. That's why I put those little scales there to break that illusion. If you want to see Sailz's skin tones without the lighting, I have one on my modular page. Perhaps, that would help me get the best advice from you. Overall, wonderful, helpful critique.
