Some history and facts; Mainio was born in Germany at the beginning of the second world war, and never saw his parents, as they are believe to have either left him or been killed. He grew up as a street child, using his werewolf abilities to steal food or even hunt for animals in the streets. As he grew he slowly realized he had an odd mutation, the more he ate the chubbier he got, and the chubbier he got the less damage he would get. Mainio’s wereform is huge, as big, if not bigger than a large shire horse. He still don’t understand how he got this mutation or why, but he uses it to full use in fights. He has a constant appetite for food and can eat anything, regardless of what. The longer he fights and goes without eating the slimmer he gets, and the bigger the risk of him getting hurt, so he has taken up to eat constantly in a fight, taking bites of enemies or their weapons, even of the ground or things around them. Despite growing up during a war and later being captured by The Man and forced to go through quite tormenting things, Mainio have a friendly and playful view of life, always trying to see the good in others before judging harshly. Though he have lately evolved a hatred for were hunters because of the pain and suffering they often leave behind, and he will sometimes hunt them when he is hungry. Around 22 years ago he found a beaten and bloody person lying in the forest and took him in, cleaning the fella’s wounds and getting him back to health, despite the other missing a leg and one eye. After a while Mainio got a story from the other, telling about how he was cast out from his home and now had to live on earth, though he knew nothing about it. Mainio took Yygd under his wing, teaching him about the human world and protecting him when needed.
