Original Species: Picondilus
What? Milo interacting with a creature that's NOT DEADLY?! HERESY!!!!
...anyway, a small change of pace this time ^^;
The Picondilus is a small, herbivorous reptile distantly related to Crocodiles. One of its closest relatives is the massive Titandilus, a creature capable of reaching sizes comparable to large sauropods.
This, roughly dog-sized reptile inhabits dry grasslands of the continent of Arcadia. Unlike the more massive inhabitants of the continent, Picondilus enjoys a quiet life among the tall grasses, bushes, and tree roots of the occasional grove. Its diet mostly subsists of grains and leaves, occasionally enriched with the odd insect. Its favorite snack is wheat, which on occasion may cause it to get into trouble with farmers.
This creature uses its tough claws to burrow into the ground, creating pretty deep dens where it hides away from larger predators and the midday heat. It's most active in the morning and afternoon.
Due to its burrowing behavior, it is not recommended as a pet. As cute and docile as it is, it is better to leave it in its natural habitat.
