Took the last week or so to finally write out some of the lore surrounding my faerie characters, and I'll be posting these pages over the next few days. This is stuff that I've had loose ideas about for years but never the time or enough interest in doing much with it. But since I'm making adopts now I figured it would be helpful.

I don't have any intentions of writing any stories, or making comics, or anything that involves any more storytelling than this. I'm an illustrator, I tell stories through art and that's what I plan to stick to. This is simply here to provide a basis for character making, for myself or for those who purchase faerie adopts from me, and that's pretty much it.

I chose the name Elphyne for my faerie world because I needed to call it something, and all the other good names were taken. I believe this is an alternate spelling from Scottish folklore. Its not mine, I don't own it, and if someone else uses it, that's fine.

Most of the concepts and ideas written here are really basic foundational stuff, I tried to leave things intentionally open for you guys to do what you like with your characters. This just gives a way to organize them by where they live and what type of magic they have. It will also help you understand my own characters a little bit better, since most of them are from this realm. :)

In short, its not that deep so don't think too hard on it. lol I mainly just want to make characters and art and have fun, and that's it. ^_^ Enjoy!
