a concept for a shopkeeper for a video game i will probably never ever make because i dont know anything about making games. he always communicates via speech bubbles that appear next to him and then disappear a few seconds later, regardless of context (even in the overworld and probably in person, outside of the context of a game) and when he tries to speak verbally he can't even formulate words, just rpg dialogue noises. he also is a little bit corrupted and has some trouble naturally emoting so he has to awkwardly and manually change his facial expressions very slowly and uncomfortably. you can also recruit him as a party member thru a little miniquest where youd have to get him a special thing and then he'd join you
