Ruthless Storm God

Legends say that whenever a devastating typhoon comes, it was highly likely sent by a mighty god of terrible power.
The god of the day and sky often performs a graceful yet earth shattering dance where the sky itself howls with dreadful sorrow for those who were about to be sacrificed back into the cycle of all things.
His powerful form renders all into awe as his steps break the earth with a dreadful crack whilst his tail whips the wind into agony. His hands shapes the clouds into a maddening spiral before his horns call forth powerful lightning that shatters mountain peaks.
Nothing is safe wherever he dances yet, despite its destructive nature it is not a dance of joy nor anger, instead it is a dance that gives mercy to the earth.
As the wind makes the soil barren and the rain quenches its thirst, the lightning shall plant the seeds for new life.
It is a dance that seeks to return the balance of nature and promote new life in honor of their agreement with the forests and the earth.
Legend has it that the rain was made from the tears he sheds for those who perish within this cycle, hoping to capture their souls and return it back into the earth as they should. This is an old character of mine but more lionesque (to resemble his children more) and above is his story that I once made, inspired by an old god that my tribespeople are starting to forget. I was just reminded of him due to the recent events that unfold in my country that killed hundreds only days before Christmas.
It kinda resembles someone else's character that I was a fan of now that I think about it but I'm not sure who's exactly.
Please post in the comments if you know who it is!
