uggh...this took forever D:
internet was down until now so I couldn't use any refs (not that I do anyways >.>). So I spent a bit more time trying to refine the details.
Results, I love the way this came out. Who knew if I put more time into a painting it would look better ^^

that's pretty, adorable, children's book material. it tells a tiny little story, which is a plus, and the characters look great, too. although the wolf has a long neck, but there. :) it's not like my ferals look better, after all...
