Me and my arrow
Straighter than narrow
Wherever we go, every one knows
It's me and my arrow
Me and my arrow
Taking the high road
Wherever we go, everyone knows
It's me and my arrow
Taking that high road today, fellow furs.
Over the past recent summer months, I've been enduring, struggling and persevering under the flesh of my usual appearance as a wolf. She's been my guardian for years and the drastic change I needed from my elementary school days to adjust to high school and college as well as in my relationship with others.
Just recently, I've felt too beaten in her. She's been through a hell of a lot and it almost came to a point where she's been so tattered I started to despise myself for it. My past and recent mistakes tarnishing all I know and love about wolves.
I'm returning to the days of my childhood when dogs were my obsession. I used to breathe, read and dream of dogs constantly as a little girl and known from my twin as "The one who loves dogs". Scooby Doo was my hero and any and every book I read was either about dogs or how to train or speak as they do. I abandoned loving them as much as I did because I felt it reflected my immaturity as a little girl loving "puppies" so much.
Now, I'm fetching that passion back to give me a little love. This breed reflects a lot of who I am. Easy going, adaptable, good with people and looks almost like a shaggy hippy. I owe a lot of this change not only to myself but from the influence of my friend
calleemcborder for helping me gingerly remember that I have a lot of redeeming, canine like, qualities that I so long ago had forgotten.
With that being said...here I am :3 ....
now, who wants to play frisbee?

A cheer : "GO, GONDOR! GO GO GO, MEN OF THE WEST!"
Kidding!
Actually, the silver tree was the Gondor ( those who were among the "Men of the West" as mentioned by Aragorn in the 3rd LOTR movie ), so... I couldn´t help but do this ( bad, so bad ) joke...
Hope you don´t mind that!
