Snow crunches underneath my feet as I walk out into the snowy woods. Or was it paws? My shoes had vanished not that long ago, victim to shrinking paws that could no longer wear such human items. I had to get help, to find some way to stop it, but as the flakes continued to fall around me, I found it more and more difficult to convince myself that I could.

Tails snaked their ways past my pants which my fingers had trouble holding up. Thumbs, as it turned out, were quite useful for many things. But in the snow, it seemed that paws were the better option. As my hair flowed out, the brown steadily fading into a soft white, I could hear a jostling crunch, a yelp of surprise rising to my growing muzzle as I fell forwards onto all fours.

As a banner of nine tails curled out behind me, my eyes turning into a chill blue, I knew I had to hurry.

I had to hurry and leave my humanity behind.

I just love the tails in this piece. How they are all spread about and curling in the cold winter air. There's nothing quite like a display like this to show just how inhuman you are becoming.

Bet that silky smooth fur would feel fantastic!
