Sketched this lil guy up and really liked how he turned out. He was a fun lil spir of the moment sketch.

"Jex what are you doing?" Asked a female Delvain walking over to her young son.

"I wanna see if i can hear anything. Is it gonna be a baby brother or sister mommy?" Jex asked smiling as he very carefully held the egg with his ear to it.

"We won't know for sure until the little one hatches sweetie. Now set it back in the nest." She told him smiling as she gave what appeared to be empty space a tap and struck a force field.

"Why is the nest out here in the shield porch mommy?" Jex asked putting the Egg back down.

"Because the shield collects the sunlight and keeps the nest warm. Plus the light filters into a the egg just a little bit letting the baby inside sync up with the day night cycle." Mommy explained ruffling her son's head hair.

"Oh....that way it knows when ta sleep and stuff when it hatches?" Jex asked curiously.

"That's right. Now come along sweetie. You'll want to go see daddy on the front porch when he flies home." Mommy told him.

"Okay. Bye bye baby bro or sis. See ya later." Jex giggled waving to the next and then scampered back inside the house to go up to the front porch to wait for his daddy to arrive.
