When you're a young teen in the early 90s, and when you're an anthro comic artist, and when you watch way too many action movies for your own good, you end up creating something like this.

Now I'm not about to upload this whole "Camp Pain Series" here. I completed about 5 books-worth of it, but alas I never finished it. I'm not 100% sure why, but I think it had something to do with the misconception that because the other artists around me were creating more "serious" works featuring humans only, well then I should be doing that too. By the time I realized my error and rerouted myself back to my roots, I had already moved on to other, more creative writing oriented projects. And in the long run, that's a good thing, because lingering in a sugar-rushed GI Joe state of mind is a good way to hinder your overall development as a creative and as a human being in general. Nevertheless, this comic book cover holds a special place in my heart because it seems like the power-packed seed of what could have been (and maybe what could be?) an awesome, entertaining story.
