Le soleil venait de se coucher depuis peu pour laisser sa place à la lune, et sur les toits encore délicieusement tièdes de la chaleur emmagasinée au cours cette torride journée d’été, étaient assis deux griffons. Blotti l’un contre l’autre, plumes contre plumes, partageant la chaleur de leur corps et s’échangeant un regard plein de tendresse de temps à autre. Aucun ne prononça le moindre mot, seul pouvait être entendu un doux roucoulement de contentement qu’ils s’adressaient l’un à l’autre. Ensemble ils contemplèrent la lune en se serrant un peu plus et en songeant à cet avenir commun qui les attendait.

The sun had recently set to make way for the moon, and on the rooftops, still delightfully warm from the heat stored up on that scorching summer day, sat two griffins. Snuggled up against each other, feather against feather, sharing their body warmth and exchanging tender gazes every now and then. None said a word, only a soft coo of contentment could be heard as they addressed each other. Together they contemplated the moon, squeezing a little more and thinking of this common future that awaited them.
