There is never a moment without pain. Liquids can dull the senses, distracting the mind with a haze of peace. Eventually it slithers past those defenses, creeping in through the shadows of the evening hours when the world hushes it's mad rush. Behind closed doors where no eyes can hold pity disguised as concern, only then will the shields of composure falter. Deep within empty halls of her self made empire does the haggard breathe let out an audible tremble. Only then does she let her old wounds remember, trapped in visions of a past without a future.

This is... old. Like I don't know when it was I started this drawing. I just kind of let it sit and would work on it here and there till finally I decided it needed to be finished. I had wanted to explore more of Saber and just did this to somewhat touch on her at a low point since often I tend to depict her in a stat of higher regard or power. Despite all the poise and posture she may hold, behind it all is someone deeply pained and forever troubled by her past choices.
