2021 was a pretty hectic year with everything that's happened. From adventures, bonds being made and tested, seeing new sights and making new friends... But I'm glad at least that there are the moments where everything just felt so right.

Since it's now 2022 and the first day's starting to begin, Kat and I decided to celebrate by wearing yukatas, and getting cosy by the kotatsu... but we ended up inviting a rhino from another world, Richard from Extracurricular Activities to join us since he is a pretty handyman to hang out with. Plus just wouldn't feel right to have him excluded, hence why we gave him a yukata to wear as well. (After I managed to bring up the fact that the left side has to be put on after the right, unless you wanna walk around as a zombie.)

The kotatsu ended up being pretty comfy, and we got to end up talking about goals for the future, as well hobbies and other stuff while Richard and I were having our cups of hot chocolate with marshmallows, along with mandarin oranges from the bowl on the middle and next to the rhino's cap. I wanted to ask Kat if he wanted something... and besides the ponytail he was sporting, he head his head down on his arms asleep. Guess he is a night owl, or very tired as the hours passed and conked out.

I'm still glad regardless we could have a peaceful time like this, even if they eventually end. Just feels so tranquil to take in everything, and to be reminded that you're never truly alone at all.

For real though, I'm glad to have a great best friend to spend time and have fun with. And to  TheAnnonymousKat, to many more time spent and memories made in the future. Happy New Year Aniki.
