First and foremost, Cerys would like it to be known that she celebrates the holidays ironically. With that out of the way, I suspect there is a bit of holiday spirit in that goth heart of hers haha. No one made her put on those antlers to the best of my knowledge. She is a little late for Christmas, and a little early for New Years. Typical haha.
My silliness out of the way, I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the year. This was really my first year as an active part of the furry community. A lot happened this year, and if it isn’t obvious, I’m fairly invested now haha. It all started with Eabha (Avilyn now), and now I seem to have four gals already, how the heck did this happen XD? It’s been an incredible year getting to know people and to experience the work of many amazing and lovely artists. You all have been so wonderful, kind and supportive over the course of the year. It has warmed my heart to get to even briefly interact with some of you amazing people! I have sincerely made some of the strongest friendships in my life, friendships that I hope to treasure always <3
This time last year, I never would have thought this is where I would be. And I couldn’t be happier with the surprise ^^
Sappiness now also out of the way, I love how this card came out! A bit dark for a traditional holiday card, but well, Cerys isn’t exactly traditional haha, so it suits! This is the first pic Cerys has appeared in since her original adoption, and I am glad it was Hagal that drew her! Thank you again so much for trusting me with her, and for all the wonderful art you have done for me this year! Happy New Year everyone, I wish you all the best going into 2022!
