Speckled Death-Beaks are the wolves of Vogelheim. These fairly big, predatory birds roam the forests in grasslands in packs (or flocks) of up to 6 individuals and hunt whatever creatures are unlucky enough to get in their way.

As it's easy to deduce, they are closely related to the massive Crimson-Crested Death-Beaks, with whom they share their environment. When smaller prey becomes scarce, Speckled Death-Beaks will often scavenge kills made by their larger relatives.
