This is a gift drawing for my good friend He has been a very good friend of mine all this year. That's why I wanted to make this drawing for him. Friend Dave thanks for all those nice and funny moments this year. I wish you a prosperous 2022 🎉.

Well, my little friend ericito, I hope you like it as much as I do. I know it's a little simple but it looks great.

Well, about the drawing. What can I tell you, I like to draw big bellies. I don't know why I like to draw Dave the hedgehog with a big round belly. Well, although, I guess, by this time of the holidays we all have our own round bellies *laughs*.

Well, I was also inspired by the fact that, in the southern hemisphere it's Summer right now. While here "up here (on earth the concept of what's up and down is relative)" it's winter. And, what better way to represent summer than with a day at the beach 🏖.

I also heard that in Colombia 🇨🇴 it is common to celebrate the new year at the beach. Well, also here in Mexico, it is considered a tradition to have a day at the beach to celebrate Christmas and the arrival of the New Year.

Bueno amiguito ericito, espero te guste tanto como a mí. Sé que es un poco simple pero se ve genial.

Bueno, sobre el dibujo. Que les puedo decir, me gusta dibujar grandes barrigas. No sé por qué me gusta dibujar al erizo Dave con una gran y redonda barrigota. Bueno, aunque, supongo que, a estas alturas de las fiestas ya todos tenemos nuestras propias barrigas redondas *risitas*

Bueno, también me inspiré en el hecho de que, en el emisferio sur es Verano en este momento. Mientras aquí “arriba (en la tierra el concepto de qué está arriba y abajo es relativo)” es invierno. Y, que mejor forma de representar el verano que con un día en la playa 🏖

También escuché que en Colombia 🇨🇴 es común selebrar el nuevo año en la playa. Bueno, también aquí en México, se considera una tradición el día en la playa para celebrar navidad y la llegada del Año Nuevo.
