I think she's cute. For some reason though I keep thinking it would look nicer if the sort of brown-ish yellow on her back was the same lighter yellow of her spots. I don't know, maybe its just me. Would you care if I copied this and tried to play with it a bit in photoshop? I would not re-post it or show it to anyone but you, I just want to satisfy my own curiosity. But I won't unless you tell me its ok.

She kind of reminds me of a character I designed once, only one tail but she was similar in the purple color with spots, but the back and spots were green, and so was her hair. Its oddly nostalgic.

Oh, I just ment doing a "save file as" to copy the image. And again its not like I want to run off and post it or take credit for it, I'm not cool with that kind of thing. I just wanted to put it in photoshop and alter some colors to see how a different color scheme would work. Like I said it reminds me of a character I did a long time ago, and I basically wanted to use this piece as a template to test if I still like the old color scheme I had before I try drawing the character again myself. Mine had quite a few distinct differences though other then just color, its just I would like something to test the colors on (I suppose I could do it with some other image I find, but this piece is just similar enough to be a perfect test). Still, like I said before I would not do that unless its ok with whoever owns the image. Even if it is just for something on my own system and no-one else sees it, I still think it should be up to the owner of a picture what is done with it. Heh, sorry if I gave a longer answer then you wanted ^_^;.

Sandhya got back to me. Rather then give me permission to use this piece as a template, she actually did one better and gave me a blank, uncolored kitsune piece to use as a templete. Which is good cause I can use it for different color and style combos to decide what I want to do with some characters before I draw them in my style. Thanks for your patience with me.
