The Fenris class is a light patrol cruiser fitted for intercept and escort missions.
Two grav cores make this class manouverable and easily defensible for a hull this size.

Illanthe on the other hand is kind of an odd job for this class.
Grown at the Gakin forge its seed to grow the kaydar substructure asteroid was had very rich in germanium together with the normal minerals needed for kaydar growth.
This changed the internal structure somehow, making for a much lighter crystal with an energy emmissive that had its peak in the green visible spectrum, rather than the usual blue/violet.
After the first burn in the density was gauged at 30% less then a regular kaydar but with a max energy throughput almost 25% bigger.
Because of this relative frailty ilanthe later opted for a fully enclosed shell with little ablation regions.
