Actually the Monty killing Bonnie thing has some ground. According to the theory, Monty hated his original area of Monty's Gator Golf since customers would pay more attention to Freddy and the gang, and that he never had any photo-ops with them since flash photography is not allowed in Monty Golf. It's believed that Monty lured Bonnie to Monty Golf one night, and did something to put the rabbit out of action. Monty was put in as Bonnie's temp replacement on stage and outfitted with new claws to help him play base, and ended up keeping the position when he gained some popularity and Fazbear Entertainment decided to scrap Bonnie.

It's believed by some fans that the reason for Monty's appearant anger issues that is seen in-game is that he is still not getting the attention that he wants. Not only do guests flock to Freddy more, but kids continue to bug staff with questions about Bonnie and where he went. In the Monty Golf mini game, on the final hole we get to see Monty's ultimate goal. On the final hole, we see a stage with only Chica, Roxy, and Monty taking center stage, while Freddy is seen laying in a dumpster. Monty's dream is to replace Freddy as leader of the band, and become the new face of the Mega Pizzaplex.
