Well, if you like the first one you’ll probably like this one, some nice character development with some of the returning cast, the story is okay not Disney or Pixar level but okay. though I feel they repeat some of the same story beat from the last film especially around the third act and if you like pop music this has plenty of that in it as well. Overall it’s a fun simple film.
I like the original but man, this sequel tops it. I saw it 3 times, first time being an exclusive early screening, and I loved and enjoyed it every single time. Especially Porsha’s character alongside the cast, she’s adorable and has a pretty good arc in the sequel, not to mention she’s voiced spectacularly by Halsey
