Progress slowed as the wild hearted stallion struggled to accept his rider. Aulay opted to keep to a simple saddle pad for much of their early training, but eventually he had to get his new steed fitted for a proper saddle if they were to ever progress. Count had long since become accustomed to being led and accepted his new bridle with ease, but as the saddle was set on his back, he became once more uneasy. Further riding would be held off for the day as Aulay took the time to simply lead Count till he'd become more adept at moving with the added restraints on him.
