Liberty Dressage Class
Horse: Erik
Handler: Lord Aulay
Movement: Bow
It has been a long time coming since Aulay took charge of the great blind warhorse Erik and together they have made great strides. Give them a lance and the pair will never miss a step. Still, there is a great difference between charging down a jousting arena to moving with the choreographed elegance of a dressage performance, and that difference becomes world's apart when you remove the rider from the saddle. Still, Aulay had worked with Erik daily, keeping the steed sharp with the new challenges while building the bond between them. Even with months of preparation, Aulay had to calm the faint shaking of his hands. Clutching tight to the small signal bell in one hand as he checked the silken scarf was secured over his steeds eyes with the other, he finally calmed his breathing as they stepped out to preform.
NOTES
Erik is blind and his eyes can be easily damaged by sunlight, so a silk scarf is kept to protect him.
No music would be played during their performance as Erik would need to be able to hear Aulay and the bell he used to give signals and commands.
Both Erik and Aulay are novice in dressage, this being both of their first show in this field. Their main event is usually the joust.
