Here I am standing out on one of the fingers of granite overlooking the waves. At high tide the rocks I am standing on are underwater. You can tell because they are covered in barnacles and the occasional pile of sea weed.

Thank you, Red! Yes, we had a wonderful time. I don't live anywhere near the sea, so getting a chance to be out on shore, or even better, on the water, is a real treat. Maine is one of the few places I do wish I could really live if I didn't love my job and my home so much.
